NEET UG 2021

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is the only entrance exam for medical school admissions at the undergraduate level. After the 12th grade, the most popular medical course is MBBS. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is the full form of MBBS. Admission to BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BVSc & AH programmes is available through the NEET test in addition to MBBS. NTA plans to conduct NEET in an offline format on September 12, 2021 for the 2021 session. According to the most recent NEET UG 2021 news, the NEET 2021 exam pattern would remain same.

NEET 2021 application form is now available at The deadline for submitting NEET applications is August 6, 2021. The official notification has also been released by the NTA, along with an information pamphlet that contains all of the essential dates, eligibility requirements, and admission procedures.

Exam Pattern Changes for NEET 2021: A total of 200 questions will be asked from all sections of the NEET 2021 exam paper, with applicants having to answer only 180 of them.

The questions will be separated into two portions — Section A and Section B — for each topic (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology). There will be 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B. Candidates can answer any 10 of the 15 questions, for a total of 180 questions.

Admission to nursing programmes: Aspirants can now apply for BSc nursing programmes based on their NEET results.

EWS Allocation- A ten percent reservation for EWS categories will henceforth be reserved solely in National Institutes and Central Universities.

OBC NCL Reservations — In National Institutes and Central Universities, 27 percent of seats would be reserved for OBC NCL candidates solely.

Tie-breaking procedure has changed — in past exams, one of the methods used by authorities to break a tie between two candidates with similar NEET scores was the age of the candidates. This year, the tie-breaking procedure of considering age has been abandoned.

NTA has modified the NEET 2021 application process for medical aspirants, requiring two sets of registration forms to be filled outNon-Disclosure Agreement- The Non-Disclosure Agreement was released by NTA this year, and it states: “The contents of this exam are confidential, proprietary, and owned by NTA/NMC/MoHFW, and the candidate is expressly prohibited from publishing, reproducing, or transmitting any or all of the test’s content, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, verbal or written, electronic or mechanical, and for any purpose. Using one’s own account or proxy account (s) to access Hangouts, Blogs, and other online services.”

NEET Exam Cities Increased — The NTA has increased the number of NEET 2021 exam cities from 155 to 201.

The number of centres that provide disability certificates has grown — The handicap certificates will be granted at 13 locations, up from 12 before.

The languages of the NEET 2021 question paper has been changed: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu will henceforth be used in the NEET (UG) — 2021 exam. Punjabi and Malayalam, two regional languages, have been added this year.

Counseling for NEET 2021

On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts NEET counselling 2021 for admission to 15% AIQ, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes. MCC also conducts AIIMS and JIPMER admissions based on NEET scores for 100 percent seats. The state counselling agencies are in charge of NEET 2021 counselling for 85 percent of state quota seats and all seats in private universities. Admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and AH courses will be given based on NEET rank, choices filled, seats available, reservation criteria, and other reasons.
